The Ex-Convent of Santo Domingo

Earlier this week, I was exploring a beautiful town of Tepoztlán. It's about an hour south of Mexico City, tucked away in the Sierra de Tepoztlán, and is packed with some of the best street food I've had in Mexico.

Tepoztlán today holds the government-bestowed title of Pueblo Mágico, or magic town and its dominated by an old Dominican Convent. But what intrigued me most was the small shrine on the southeast side of the complex.
